(North American Alliance of Martial Arts)
Community Program

Welcome to the #1 Community Karate program in the state!

About our Program:
The NAAMA Karate community program is designed to focus on the importance of danger/stranger awareness and the teaching of self defense techniques to those willing to learn what it takes to be prepared in order to help us stay safe.

No contract – our no contract program allows us the opportunity to offer our students top quality training using certified instructors that families of all level incomes can afford! (i.e.; $6 per class attended)

No hidden costs – At registration, each parent/student is given a requirement sheet explaining what is needed and, by what week during the term it should be purchased to assist them in advancement to the next level. (Instructors will have inventory on site and, if not can have it for you by your next scheduled class)

Each student will also receive a DVD (included in their registration fee) on the second class for his/her rank up to Green Belt; this DVD is a very important tool and should be viewed at home as often as possible to further assist each student with their advancement to the next level.

The majority of our terms run for 10 weeks however, some may run for 12 weeks. During each term, you/your child will be taught how to properly execute a number of self-defense techniques based on his/her current rank plus, the importance of stranger/danger awareness, code words, 911 ABC’s, go bananas, phone use, the importance of discipline, respect and, responsibility all while building their self confidence and self esteem.

Also, as part of NAAMA’s program, your instructor will be stressing the importance of Family, School & School Homework always comes FIRST! We also may send a letter to your child’s school teacher asking about his/her behavior in the classroom and, we also ask the parents to fill out a similar questionnaire giving us feedback on their behavior at home, this helps us in determining how and if the Martial Arts is having a positive effect on each of our students.

By the instructor doing his/her job properly, each student attending their classes regularly (at least 70% for white belts), working hard in class and watching their DVD at home, he/she should be well prepared to test for their Yellow Belt at the end of each term.

Again, I’d like to welcome you to NAAMA Karate’s community program; our team looks forward to a long and positive relationship with you, and your child.

Sincerely,
Sensei John E. Casbar
